While being quarantined at home might seem unhelpful, there are many ways that you can help support your neighbors and community.
One way is by supporting the American Red Cross which currently has an urgent need for blood donations due to COVID-19 outbreak. In their own words, the Red Cross has confirmed that donating blood is “one of the most important things you can do to ensure we don’t have another health care crisis on top of coronavirus,” so check here to see where you can go to help.

Another great resource is sc211.org, a 24/7 organization that compiles lists of operating nonprofits where you can donate time, supplies, and money. 211 has local specialists who can help those in need with health care, information, utilities assistance, and more. Those with the means to do so can also check here for local nonprofits and businesses that are helping with COVID-19 relief, giving needed supplies like hand sanitizer, pet food, and bagged lunches across the city.
